Nike Dunk High AMBUSH Black White

Tokyo-based fashion brand AMBUSH has teamed up with Nike to add an abstract twist to the Dunk High silhouette with the Nike Dunk High Ambush Black. This collaboration draws inspiration from Japanese motorcycle, car and truck culture, which explains the silhouette’s reimagined proportions that make it appear almost aerodynamic. Features like the extended Swoosh and prominent heel counter reference the elongated exhaust tips and raised rear subframes of motorcycles and trucks. The Nike Dunk High Ambush Black arrives with a black and white leather upper in a traditional color blocking (a similar design format to the first Nike Dunk releases in 1985), and an exaggerated Swoosh that extends past the heel. Outside of the reimagined Swoosh, other features differentiate this design from traditional Nike Dunks like a raised heel counter with a noticeable separation at the back of the shoe, revealing more white leather paneling, and an extended black plastic unit that encapsulates Ambush branding on the heel. An exposed foam tongue, white outsole, and tongue tag with co-branding complete this design. The Nike Dunk High Ambush Black released in December 2020 and retailed for $180.
